At the heart of our assessment service is a commitment to ensuring clients feel understood, supported, and empowered. Our goal is not simply to provide a diagnosis, but to work collaboratively with each individual or family to gain meaningful insight into how their mind works.

The Assessment Process

  1. Meet with Grace online to explore what has led you to seek the assessment for either yourself or your child.
  2. Meet with Grace face-to-face to conduct the necessary assessment. Grace will be operating out of the Mudgee Psychology office, on Church Street.
  3. Grace will score & interpret screeners and assessment results. She will then write a personalised report.
  4. Meet with Grace to discuss results and be guided to next steps for the right support for your child, yourself or your family.

To ensure you feel truely supported, Grace is also offering follow-up & ongoing consultation with clients, families, schools & allied health professionals.

Originally from Mudgee, Grace is excited to return to her hometown to support the local community.

In the Know was founded on the belief that a deeper understanding of ourselves and how our minds work is a powerful foundation for personal growth. Insight into our experiences can support us in leading more authentic and fulfilling lives.

The assessment process is a valuable opportunity for individuals and families to gain greater clarity and self-awareness. When people seek assessments, they are seeking answers. This process is about more than answers — it's about understanding and building a foundation for growth and support.

Following assessments, we want clients to walk away feeling ‘In the Know’ about their own minds – when we gain insight into how we learn, communicate, and manage emotions, we begin to:

  • Understand our strengths and challenges more clearly, rather than feeling “less than” or misunderstood.

  • Develop self-awareness, which improves emotional regulation and decision-making.

  • Build self-acceptance, as we begin to see that our differences are not flaws, but part of our individual neurodiversity.

  • Make informed choices about how we work, learn, and relate to others—leading to more meaningful and aligned experiences.

  • Access the right supports and environments that nurture our wellbeing and potential.

Ultimately, insight creates a stronger sense of self, and from that place, people are more likely to lead confident, content and purposeful lives.
